Salt water intrusion risks, safety checks

I decided to create this thread to bring to our attention items that we should inspect to increase our boating safety. The focus of the thread is on items that could lead to salt water intrusion and how to reduce the chances of severe damages or even sinking.
The kick-off items I have in mind are:
1) What type of high-water alarm does your boat have?
2) How many bilge pumps and what are their rated capacity?
3) If you have a/c, what is the water flow of your a/c raw water pump?
4) Are the saltwater hoses double clamped and of appropriated type?
5) Are the hoses wrinkle-free?
6) Are the fittings safe for saltwater?
7) Are your below waterline thruhulls connected to seacocks?
8) Do you leave your boat unattended in a wet slip with seacocks open?
